Del Norte Elementary School Newsletter
February 2022
Dear Parents,
It is hard to believe that February is already here and
Spring is around the corner. I am very thankful for
all of your parent support. Our students and staff
benefit from it greatly and it is what makes Del Norte
special.
Parent/Teacher conferences will be February
10th and 11th. They will NOT be in person. You will
have the option of a Zoom meeting or a phone call
with your student’s teacher. Your teacher will be
contacting you to set this up.
Yearbooks are now on sale for $15. The price will go
up to $20 on March 1st. You can send money with
your student to school, but please send exact change.
We are needing your help with monitoring our back
playground. We love having our playground open to
the public outside of school hours, but we are having
some problems with vandalism. If you see something
going on, we would appreciate it if you would call the
police. Let’s work together so that we can keep it
open and we can all enjoy it. Thank you again for all
that you do for our students and have a great
February.
Thank you,
Mr. Kyle Alsup
Principal
